Professional falls response & community support
Helping people remain safe, independent and supported at home with professional welfare response, specialist lifting equipment and clinically governed care.
Because a fall should not mean hours waiting on the floor.

Why This Service Matters
Across the UK, older adults and vulnerable people are increasingly being left waiting for help following non-injury falls or welfare concerns.
For many families, the challenge is not always a medical emergency — it is knowing that somebody trusted, professional and local can respond when support is needed most.
Marches Community Response was created to provide reassurance, welfare support and practical assistance designed to help people remain safe and independent at home.

Real Experiences Behind The Service
Mrs T’s Story
“They didn’t just get mum off the floor — they helped us put support in place so it didn’t happen again.”
After a fall at home during the night, Mrs T activated her pendant alarm expecting help to arrive quickly.
Her daughter was contacted, but despite best efforts was unable to safely lift her from the floor. A local falls response service was contacted, however after several hours nobody had arrived.
Marches Community Response attended, carried out a welfare assessment, safely assisted Mrs T using specialist lifting equipment and ensured no emergency escalation was required.
Following the incident, our team completed a referral for additional support services and an occupational therapy review to help reduce future risks and support Mrs T’s independence at home.
